Meet Jennie

The thing I love the most is giving my clients beautiful, natural-looking modern color that’s easy to maintain. And giving them a friendly, relaxed environment where they are free to be themselves. Chat, chill, read, give me your latest Netflix recommendation, tell me about your pets, whatever makes you comfortable! Some of my best memories are sitting with my grandma and the other ladies at the “beauty parlor”. My other grandma made me perm her hair when I was 13 and I continued to do her hair until she was 92. I went to cosmetology school in Brattleboro, VT and felt right at home with its artsy, hippie vibe. I worked in a large commission salon close to UCONN for 10 years.

But I really came into my own as I started working independently at The Network. It’s been my hair home since March of 2020. It is such a huge source of inspiration for me! I love everything about our salon from the guest lounge, the cool industrial boho style, and the positive and inspiring stylists that I work next to. When I’m not at the salon or watching online trainings, you can find me puttering around my houseplants , reading books on animation and drawing, or re-reading my treasured Stephen King novels. I also love a good true-crime podcast. The rest of the time I’ll be hanging out with my family and my pug and cat. And occasionally painting!
